Oxford nanoSystems is developing nanocoatings to help improve efficiency in waste-heat-to-power systems, refrigeration, cryogenics and electronics cooling. The company is using STFC facilities to develop a technology that will provide financial benefits across a range of industries, including heat transfer, refrigeration and boiling. Oxford nanoSystems is based at Harwell Campus and became the first company at Harwell to join the CERN BIC in January 2015. It graduated from the STFC CERN BIC in February 2016.
